After many years in the making, Barton Charlip opened the Student Den in Boca Raton, Florida.  The Student Den is a unique and innovative place where students come to do their homework.  The Den is a professionally staffed, quiet, supportive environment, where parents can drop off their children and they can be assured that their homework will be completed.  Parents quickly realize homework gets done on time --- no more cramming, no more stress!

To enhance their innovative homework concept, the Student Den created the “Study Buddy”.  A Study Buddy is a specially selected high school student who is teamed up with a student from grades K-12 to assist the student with homework. The Study Buddies work directly with students and are responsible for keeping the students on track with their homework and assisting them as needed.  In addition, the Study Buddies teach organizational skills and understand the importance of patience.

Beyond the homework concept, the Student Den provides support for students in need of individualized one-on-one tutoring, SAT/ACT test preparation (as well as other high-level testing), and College Guidance.  The Student Den is a leader in providing academic services in a comprehensive educational facility. 

At the Student Den, first and foremost, every student counts!  The success of the Student Den is measured by the success of their students. 

Barton Charlip, Executive Director, is the founder of the Student Den.  Prior to opening the Student Den, Barton was the owner of Personalized Educational Services, Inc., a successful tutoring business. 

Barton started Personalized Educational Services, Inc., and is proud to merge the offerings of this company into an integral part of the Student Den.  By doing this, Barton is able to serve and mentor the loyal families and students he has worked with for many years. 

Along with being the Executive Director, you will always find Barton at the Student Den.  Barton meets with each and every family and tailors an academic plan to match the needs of their children. 

Barton is a hands-on Director so you can be confident that he is monitoring the progress of your child.  Barton has a dedicated staff who promotes a positive learning environment, while understanding the individualized goals of each student.
